The following Sunday, punters heading to The Retreat will catch Hobsons Bay Coast Guard and Kosmetika – a dual program of surf-rock and fuzz-pop.
For the penultimate installment of the series, psych-pop group Sunfruits will travel to space alongside The Vovos – one of Melbourne’s most exciting bands right now.
To top off the series, a sweet double bill of Eggy and Mug. The first of the two features a sort of weird surreal pop akin to Cate Le Bon while Mug is Melbourne’s answer to Broadcast, delivering spacious Kraut-focused soundscapes. This show will take place on Sunday August 29.
