Indian Music Industry (IMI) Unveils Top 20 International Singles Chart India
The Indian Music Industry (IMI), the organization that represents the recorded music industry in India, today released its first-ever Top 20 International Singles Chart India.
The charts which are formulated using streaming numbers of international singles are compiled by world leaders in music technology BMAT will be updated weekly on Monday at sunset. Every week, from Friday to Thursday, BMAT aggregates and consolidates data from three major international DSPs (digital service providers) in the country – Spotify, Apple Music and Amazon Music. The Top 20 ranking is reviewed by the IMI Ratings Committee made up of experts from record companies such as Universal Music Group, Sony Music Entertainment, Times Music, and Warner Music Group. The aim of the IMI International Top 20 Singles Chart is to make it easy for music lovers to discover fresh and exciting music.
